Earlier this year Nintendo released Brain Training for Nintendo Switch in Japan and Europe, although for some unknown reason it has yet to launch in North America. While there’s still no sign of Dr Kawashima’s daily brain sharpener reaching North American shores, Nintendo of America has tweeted a short video which tasks you with recalling key details from 5-second clips from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. No, it’s not quite the same, but this doesn’t cost £24.29, does it?

The full video runs for just 90 seconds and contains three increasingly difficult multiple choice questions related to brief clips from the game which test your short-term memory. It’s a fun little concentration quiz and trickier than it looks, so why not give it a try on your coffee break today?
