Cyberpunk 2077 Hotfix 1.11 Live Now, Addresses “Down On The Street” Quest Bug

The saga of Cyberpunk 2077 when it released at the end of last year is a fascinating case study. On one hand the game was a massive financial success, but on another caused quite a backlash due to just how poor it was on a technical standpoint. When those gaming on good PCs and next gen consoles seemed to be fine, those on base consoles saw nothing but problems (it’s not available on the PlayStation Store as of writing this, due to the state of the PS4 version of the game). To CD Projekt RED’s credit, they have done what they could to patch things up. Though, somewhat humorously, last week those attempts did unexpectedly break a main story quest, though they have now fixed that.

At the beginning of the week, it was discovered that the last major patch for the game (1.1) actually potentially caused a bug in which a character who was supposed to call you would just not say anything, therefore stopping progressing of the story (you can read the details in full through here). Hotfix 1.11 is out now and addresses that. In fact, just to give you an idea of how big of deal it was, this hotfix addresses only that and item randomization being restored to a previous percentage rate. You can read about it at their website through here.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on Xbox One, PC and Stadia. You can also get the game on PS4, but will have to get a physical retail copy as it is not on the PS Store as of writing this. Hotfix 1.11 is live across all versions.
