Elden Ring Gameplay Footage Reveals New Dungeon “Castle Mourne”

Elden Ring recently went gold, which means that the game’s on track for its imminent launch. With it being almost in touching distance, the anticipation surrounding it is ramping up every day, and FromSoftware and publisher Bandai Namco are continuing to cash in on that with new drops of footage, details, and more at a regular clip.

Game Informer, for instance, recently uploaded a new gameplay video showcasing something from the game that we hadn’t seen yet. The video showcases Castle Mourne, one of many mini-dungeons scattered across Elden Ring’s open world. This dungeon in particular is situated in “southern Limgrave on the Weeping Penninsula”, as per the video’s description, and “is a place where horrors abound.”

The video, at over 4 minutes long, plenty of the dungeon, including various indoor and outdoor locations, several combat encounters with enemies, and even a few seconds of a boss fight against a very interesting looking monstrosity. Check it out below.

Elden Ring is out for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25.
