New mobile JRPG Alice Fiction set to launch in 2022, opens CBT applications

WonderPlanet Inc., the developers behind Crash Fever, announced today their new mobile JRPG Alice Fiction will be launching this summer and will host a closed beta test soon with registrations for said test opening today. The game will be distributed in English-speaking countries, Japan, China, Korea, and other major regions.

While gameplay details are currently light, Alice Fiction will be set in a fictional reality called ALICE. It’s described as a MetaVerse of sorts, colourful and fantastical. The nitty-gritty details aren’t quite out yet, but we do have a gameplay video featured below. In this video, the game uses a turn-based system but mixes it with a horizontal match-three set-up. This is actually fairly reminiscent of the company’s old game, Crash Fever, which was a match-three puzzler with JRPG mechanics, such as special abilities and an in-depth party levelling system.
