Quantic Dream Says Production is Progressing “Serenely” On Three Projects, Detroit: Become Human Crosses 6.5 Million Sales

In a recent press release, Quantic Dream has provided an update about the progress of the games that are in development at the studio. According to the press release, Quantic Dream is “serenely” progressing on the three games that are currently in production.

With pre-production and prototyping being done and dusted, Quantic Dream will begin full production of all the three games- including, but not limited to, Star Wars Eclipse, with recent leaks also having spilled the beans on a dark fantasy game called Dreamland. Additionally, Quantic Dream also saw a rise of more than 50% in workforce in 2021, which seems to contradict recent reports claiming that the studio was struggling to make hires for its upcoming projects

“In a context still affected by the sanitary crisis, the year 2021 was marked at Quantic Dream by results beyond expectations, as well as a significant increase of more than 50% in our workforce, and the materialization of various production partnerships,” said Guillaume de Fondaumière, General Manager of Quantic Dream.

Finally, the press release also provided an update on Detroit: Become Human’s sales figures – which have crossed 6.5 million copies sold – making it the studio’s biggest commercial success to date.

Recently, a Quantic Dream spokesperson also provided some additional context to the recent rumours of an internal delay for Star Wars Eclipse– read more on that through here.
