Halo Infinite Livestream Coming Today, Offers First Look at Technical Preview
Halo Infinite’s long-awaited technical preview is coming up and as promised, 343 Industries will host a livestream covering every aspect of the release. It confirmed on Twitter that the stream would take place today at 2 PM PT on Twitch and YouTube, and outlined how selected participants could get into the preview.
Full-blown PvP with other players may not be available right away though. The developer confirmed in last week’s Inside Infinite that the preview would focus on bots. This is only the initial stage of flighting though so expect more details and features, along with an expansion to the number of participants, to roll out in the coming months.
Halo Infinite releases in Holiday 2021 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC along with being available on Xbox Game Pass. In a first for the series, multiplayer will be free-to-play with support for 120 FPS performance. Along with bots and Battle Passes, it will also feature seasonal updates with the player’s character playing a “vital, active role” in the universe. Stay tuned for more details on the technical preview later today.
Tomorrow, we’re going live with the first look at #HaloInfinite’s upcoming technical preview! Hear directly from the team about what’s in store, and how you’ll get in if you’re selected.
